Maj. Gen. John Shaw, Combined Force Space Component commander, U.S. Space Command, and commander, Space Operations Command, U.S. Space Force, and his wife, Tonia Shaw, visited Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., Feb. 21, 2020, to learn about the unique missile warning mission here. Both were given tours showcasing exactly what Buckley brings to the fight!

At the end of the day, Maj. Gen. Shaw held an all-call where he discussed what direction the Space Force was heading in and answered some questions.

“So much of what Buckley does here as a whole is a model for how space is integrated into warfighting," said Shaw. “I’m really proud of what you do here today.”
