Snakes on base

Three of the most common snakes found on Buckley Air Force Base are the rattlesnake, bull snake and garter snake. Snakes first appear after a long winter, they are primarily looking for a meal and then a mate. As temperatures increase during the spring through the end of summer, you may occasionally see snakes in your yard or during outdoor activities. (Courtesy photo)
