Feds Feed Families drive successful
BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.- --
Team Buckley contributed 830 pounds of food in August to families in need during the 6th Annual Feds Feed Families Food Drive.
The drive was held through the month of August, with drop-off boxes placed around base. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, federal workers have donated more than 24.1 million pounds of food since the campaign began in 2009.
Buckley Air Force Base was the third highest contributor in Air Force Space Command, donating 15.7 percent of the 5,300 pounds of food gathered by AFSPC bases.
