<title>Making a difference: Chaplain warms hearts, strengthens morale</title>
      <link>https://www.buckley.spaceforce.mil/NEWS/Article/2511508/making-a-difference-chaplain-warms-hearts-strengthens-morale/</link>
<description>Chaplain (Maj.) Bob Stone, a chaplain with the 136th Airlift Wing, arrived at the remote location of Clear Air Force Station, Alaska on Oct. 18, 2020. Following quarantine, the jubilant Stone immediately began executing his mission, taking care of Team Clear. The team consists of three squadrons; the 13th Space Warning Squadron under the U.S. Space Force and the Alaska Air National Guard's 213th Space Warning Squadron, and 268th Security Forces Squadron.

In the sub-arctic environment of Clear AFS, a chaplain’s specialty is essential. With temperatures that stay at 40 degrees below zero regularly, minimal sunlight during shortened days coupled with little to no opportunities to walk outside for a breath of fresh air, individuals are at an increased risk for experiencing feelings of isolation and depression.

<title>Team Buckley attends Dare to Play football event</title>
      <link>https://www.buckley.spaceforce.mil/NEWS/Article/1890018/team-buckley-attends-dare-to-play-football-event/</link>
<description>Thunder bellowed from the bleachers as, one by one, each player entered the stadium. The field, lined every few yards with white, painted numbers, was moments from seeing a game played by extraordinary people from all over the country.

Filled with families and local community members, the cause joining those in attendance were the stars of the day: children with Down syndrome. Hosted by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation and its co-sponsors Ed and Christian McCaffrey, National Football League stars, this year marked the 10th annual Dare to Play game in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

      <link>https://www.buckley.spaceforce.mil/NEWS/Article/1714357/local-community-comes-together-to-memorialize-fallen-colorado-veterans/</link>
<description>For three nights, the stars were mirrored over two and a half acres as more than 6,000 luminaries flickered, each representing a life sacrificed in service to the nation.
From Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2018, volunteers trickled in from the local community to assist in setting up, and then lighting the luminaries at the Colorado Freedom Memorial in Aurora, Colorado.
