The 460th Medical Operations Squadron’s Flight Medicine and Bioenvironmental Engineer units opened the new Aerospace Medical Clinic today on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo.

The move from Building 600 to Building 392 is the first step in the Massing the Medics initiative. Relocating these units will allow Building 600 to be renovated to host a bulk of the 460th Medical Group, which is currently located off base.

“We are on pace to move mental health on base within the next couple months,” stated Lt. Col. Jon O’pry, 460th MDOS commander. “This is a huge win for Team Buckley and our partners that rely on the 460th MDG for their primary medical care.”

Massing the Medics is a highly-driven initiative of the 460th MDG to consolidate all medical facilities onto Buckley Air Force Base. Once completed, Team Buckley will no longer need to drive the 20 minutes to their nearest primary medical provider.
