Bundles for Babies

Bundles for Babies is a workshop designed to help soon-to-be parents prepare for their upcoming baby.

Heart Link is an orientation program for new spouses.

Hearts Apart

Hearts Apart is a program designed for family members who have a loved one either deployed or on a remote tour. This program offers services such as phone calls, free preventative car care and family members events.

The Finance Programs offer information, education, and personal financial counseling. Consultants are available for one-on-one appointments and also offer workshop/classes throughout the year.

Buckley’s A&FRC assist military and DoD civilian families adjust to life upon arrival & departure of duty station by offering Newcomers Orientation, PCS w/ Ease workshop and Commanders & First Sergeant Orientation.  Transition Assistance Program (TAP) is designed to equip separating and retiring civilian and military personnel and their eligible family members with skills and knowledge for entry or re-entry onto the private sector. Program components include:

• Pre-separation – briefing must be completed at least 90 days before separation / retirement and is a prerequisite to attend the 5-day Transition Goals, Plans & Success (GPS) Workshop.

• 5-day Transition GPS Workshop – taught in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor (DoL) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

• Capstone – an individual evaluation of a members career readiness standards. Capstones must be completed no earlier than 150 days and no later than 90 days from individuals date of separation.  

Additional assistance is provided in workshops and via one-on-one appointments for Federal employment, resume writing, job search, mock interview, goal setting, etc.
