Be alert for fraudulent assignment notifications Published Oct. 1, 2012 By 460th Space Wing Public Affairs Staff Report 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Air Force officials are warning Airmen of recent fraudulent assignment notifications. All automated assignment notification, modification and cancellation emails should be validated upon receipt. Airmen will receive official notifications to their "@us.af.mil" address as well as their home email address as listed in their virtual military personnel flight. Official sender's email addresses will always end with a "@us.af.mil." If Airmen receive assignment notifications, modifications or cancellations from a "@gmail.com," "@yahoo.com," "@netzero.com" or any other domain other than "@us.af.mil," the emails need to be treated as spam or fraudulent email. The individual needs to contact the Air Force Relocation Operations office at afpc.prpreloworkflow@randolph.af.mil so it can be investigated. None of these emails have been reported at Buckley. However, if received, also notify the 460th Space Communications Squadron at 847-2666.
