First diamond-wearer in 8th SWS graduates first in First Sergeant Academy
MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Celebrating with her commander, Lt. Col. Robert Peterson, 8th Space Warning Squadron (left), is Master Sgt. Marlene Veum, 8th SWS first sergeant. Sergeant Veum graduated from the First Sergeant Academy July 31 to become the 8th SWS' first diamond-wearing first sergeant.
