Tech. Sgt. David Priest, ADF-C

A technical sergeant from the Aerospace Data Facility--Colorado is Team Buckley's Warrior of the Week for Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.

Tech. Sgt. David Priest is an assistant Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Logistics at Detachment 3/ADF--C.

Sergeant Priest has spent 16 years in the Air Force and calls Lansing, Mich., home, which is the birthplace of the Oldsmobile in 1897. He is a self-proclaimed movie buff and enjoys sports and skiing.

What is the combat capability that this person exemplified to earn the title, "Warrior of the Week?"
"Sergeant Priest's work behind the scenes has helped ensure daily operations success for the over 3,600 ADF--C members," said Capt. Deim, ADF--C executive officer. "Additionally, by ensuring professional appearance and operations support for visitors, Sergeant Priest helped create positive first impressions of ADF--C and Buckley for over 4,000 visitors including recent visits from the Director of National Intelligence, the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, and the Joint Inspector General."

How do your day-to-day duties impact the Air Force mission?
I provide logistical support such as supplies, vehicles and airlift to the ADF--C so it can accomplish its mission of providing timely, accurate and relevant information, data and products for our Department of Defense, National and Allied customers.

If you could change one thig about the AF what would it be?
I would find a way to change the Enlisted Performance Report system and make it less inflated and fairer than it is today.

Why do you serve?
I serve for my country, the best in the world!

What has been your most memorable experience in the Air Force?
Meeting and shaking hands with the President.

What is your most memorable personal accomplishment?
Traveling all over the world and seeing many different cultures and people.

If you were not in the military, where would you be? Why?
I would probably be working in Michigan as that is where my family still resides.

Where would you like to be in 10 years? What will you be doing?
I would like to find a way to stay in Colorado when I retire. I would like to still be in a government position supporting our country or state.
