Hometown: Arvada, Colorado

Unique Fact: Worrell's father worked at Buckley from 1963 -1992, so she has been connected to Buckley her whole life. She also challenges anyone to say they have been a part of the Buckley community longer than her.

Hobbies: Cross-stitch, movies, reading. She is also attending graduate school at University of Colorado Colorado Springs, pursuing a master's in Public Administration. She is projected to graduate in spring 2016.

Panther at a glance: Worrell has lived in Colorado her entire life and is a huge Broncos fan. She graduated CSU with a bachelor's in Social Science in 1992. She began her military career with the Colorado Air National Guard in 1987 and served until her retirement in 2009. She served 12 years enlisted then received her commission in 1999 and finished after 10 more years as an officer. She retired from the military when she adopted her son Zack. She started her civilian career working for the ANG in 1992. Worrell has been married for 15 years to retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Bill Worrell.
