Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen W. Wilson and Under Secretary of the Air Force Matthew P. Donovan visited Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., on Oct. 3, while touring Air Force Space Command bases on the Front Range.

The tour highlighted Buckley's missile warning mission and space capabilities.

As part of the tour, Donovan and Wilson visited the Mission Control Station, where they received briefings by base leadership and Airmen, and had a chance to meet and thank Buckley's space operators for their service.

After the briefings, Donovan and Wilson visited the Aerospace Data Facility - Colorado for a site overview, a tour of the operations floor and mission overview with ADF-C leadership.

Before departing Buckley AFB, Donovan and Wilson attended a lunch with Airmen who excel in their work centers. During the lunch, Team Buckley members had a chance to ask questions concerning Air Force resources, manning and the general direction the Air Force is moving in.

"We're going to do what we can to get you the manning, the resources, and the tools you need to do your job," said Donovan. "We can always improve there and I just want to say thanks."
