The Combined Federal Campaign is in full swing and Team Buckley's participation is still needed. The donation season is at the halfway point, but the base's participation is still below the 30 percent goal.

"We are currently at 5 percent participation with a total of $60,343 donated," stated Tech. Sgt. John Harms, 2nd Space Warning Squadron orbital analysis NCO in charge and CFC keyworker.

While five percent may seem small, it represents the 152 Team Buckley members which have already donated. Many people have chosen to "get their give on-line".

Of the 152 donators, 118 people have made donations via the World Wide Web, according to CFCNexus.org, the website allows individuals to track and make donations online. The 460th Space Wing leads the pack with the most participation, while the 2 SWS, Aerospace Data Facility and Air Reserve Personnel Center follow closely behind.

Harms describes the initial push and what needs to be done in order to meet the goal going forward.

"We had a really strong start and a lot of the keyworkers are doing a great job," explained Harms. "We just need to push forward and harder to finish with a bang."

There are less than three weeks remaining for individuals to donate to the CFC before the Nov. 22 deadline. Only one in three Team Buckley members in each work center needs to give to achieve the goal.

Anyone wishing to donate may contact their organization's keyworkers for additional instructions. A list of the keyworkers can be found at the Buckley website CFC page.
