Sno Fest is just around the corner for Buckley. Start planning now for the 21st annual military snow sports weekend Jan. 28-30 at Keystone Resort.

"If you have never experienced snow before, it's a good way to get immersed in all the winter activities Colorado has to offer," said Mary Monzon, 460th Services Squadron.

Sno Fest features a variety of activities geared just for miliatry members and their guests, including competitive ski and snowboard racing and parties.

Another competitive sport featured is the cardboard derby.

"The cardboard derby is hilarious," said Ms. Monzon. "People spend a lot of time on it, and it's fun seeing if they even make it down the hill."

Sno Fest is considered the family getaway for the year too affordable to miss.

Keystone Resorts has a wide variety of discounted accommodations set aside for Team Buckley to take advantage of, in addition to reduced-price lift tickets.

"People go because it's an opportunity to go someplace that would generally cost a lot of money," said Ms. Monsoon. "It is a way to enjoy Colorado living at its best."

Be sure to make reservations for an experience sure to create amazing memories. Sno Fest is hosted by the Force Support Squadrons from all the Front Range bases. For complete details, visit Outdoor Recreation in Bldg. 1022 or call 720-847-6100.
