460th Comptroller Squadron captures 5 AFSPC awards

For the third year in a row, the 460th Comptroller Squadron captured several Air Force Space Command awards, including the Financial Management and Comptroller Organization of the Year and Financial Analysis Office of the Year.

Individual awards were also won. Senior Master Sgt. Shane Enos was name The Chief Master Sgt. Larry P. Gonzales Superintendent of the Year. Staff Sgt. Timothy Carlsrud earned the title of Financial Management NCO of the Year and Thomas McClanahan Jr. is the Resource Advisor of the Year.

According to the award packages, the squadron topped AFSPC metrics. They worked more than 700 pay cases work $300 thousand, beating the Air Force goal by 62 percent. The comptrollers also had 100 percent accuracy in separation and retirement as well as bonus payments. In addition to pay, the squadron executed $88 million for the 460th Space Wing, ensuring numerous projects were completed and equipment bought.
