"It's a day to relax with friends, family and coworkers and enjoy free food, free entertainment and free activities for all ages." All ages will be able to eat for free, but only those over 21 will be able to purchase beer at one of the newest additions to Freedom Fest - the biergarten. Local restaurants will be on hand to serve more than 10,000 meals. Major Huffman said that while planning this year's event has been rewarding, the committee tries to make it better each year and she is excited for the base community to come out and enjoy Freedom Fest. "We want everyone to walk away thinking, 'Wow, that was fun!'" she said.
