President Obama lands at Buckley Air Force Base Published Feb. 18, 2010 By Meaghan Horan 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- President Barack Obama landed at Buckley today before he headed to Senator Michael Bennet's campaign event at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. "Team Buckley is honored to have our Commander-in-Chief visit," said Col. Clint Crosier, 460th Space Wing commander. "We've worked hand-in-hand with the U.S. Secret Service and our partners at the 140th Wing to make this visit a success." When President Obama was told that Team Buckley Annual Award winners were at hand for his arrival, he said that it was important to make time for them. He then took the opportunity to meet and talk with several members of Team Buckley.
