Recognizing that the strength of our Airmen comes from the strength of their families, the Air Force declared July 2009 to July 2010 the Year of the Air Force Family.

Secretary of the Air Force Michael B. Donley said, "Taking care of families is a solemn promise we make to each Airmen and Family Member."

In keeping with this promise, Team Buckley will host events to provide education and awareness of available Air Force and community programs during Air Force Family Week Nov. 1-7. These events are open to all branches of service, spouses, retirees, and DoD civilians.

Our diverse family includes Active Duty, Reserve and Guard members, officers, enlisted, DoD civilians, retirees, spouses and children. Families and personal relationships are an essential foundation in each of their lives.

This gives us a chance to ensure Airmen and their families are safe, healthy, and have good educational and developmental opportunities.

Team Buckley recognizes the importance of our families and offers a chance to strengthen your own with the events offered below.
