Clint Crosier, 460th SW commander, lay out his expectations and promises for his command. "I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the team at Buckley Air Force Base," Colonel Crosier said. By way of introduction, the commander explained he grew up in the Air Force (his father is a retired senior master sergeant) and has served at a variety of assignments in his nearly-22 years in the Air Force. Col. Crosier and his wife Shelle have three grown children, something the commander touched on while outlining his strategic perspective. "My priorities are God, Family and Country," Colonel Crosier said. However, he added, while his family will always be his top priority strategically, "on a tactical level, the Air Force often must come first." Colonel Crosier said his plan for the 460th SW begins with "a relentless focus on mission success." Other focus areas include a commitment to Team Buckley and our families, growing future leaders, "mentoring and developing our young troops" and "fostering esprit, pride and desire for achievement and accomplishment." Additionally, the commander made a number of commitments to Team Buckley: - I will lead, and lead by example. - I will never ask you to do anything unethical, illegal or which I am unwilling to do myself. - I will treat you fairly, with dignity and respect. - I will set clear standards, holding us all accountable for meeting them. - I will strive to not surprise you with decisions, actions or judgments. - I will give 100 percent effort to our mission and our people every single day.
