"To Dream" is Tops in Blue's celebration Aug. 25 Published Aug. 5, 2009 By John Spann 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Tops in Blue, the Air Force's premier entertainment group, is scheduled to perform a free show at The Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum on the old Lowry Campus Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to the highly acclaimed 2009 edition of Tops in Blue entitled "To Dream." Tickets are not required and the show is appropriate for all ages. Doors open at 6 p.m. "To Dream" is an extravaganza of sight and sound, of music and dance. These talented entertainers will take you on a journey of dreams old and new. You'll hear music for the young and the young at heart, along with the great patriotic music of our nation. With each stirring song and dazzling production number, Tops in Blue will show you that America is indeed a place where dreams really can come true. The American Dream is a dream of a land where life is richer, fuller and better for everyone. A land where opportunities abound. Join us, as the Air Force's Expeditionary Entertainers take you on a trip through dreamland. We know that you're in for a wonderful experience, as Tops in Blue shares with you the many ways there are "To Dream." The tour commemorates the 56th Anniversary of Air Force Entertainment and will take Tops in Blue throughout the United States and to more than 25 countries, with more than 125 performances over a 10-month period. One of the oldest and most widely-traveled entertainment acts of its kind, Tops in Blue is composed of 35 of the Air Force's most talented vocalists, musicians, dancers and technicians. Tops in Blue has performed for heads of state and dignitaries throughout the world. They have toured throughout Western, Central, and Eastern Europe, the Far East, Middle East, Central America, Southwest Asia, Canada and the United States.
