Buckley's second annual Holiday Parade rolled through Family Housing Dec. 18.

The 460th Security Forces Squadron, 460th Civil Engineer Squadron and the base Fire Department paraded through every block with their lights flashing and sirens wailing.

Despite the winter weather, families lined up along the streets to cheer the arrival of the parade. However, it wasn't the eight vehicles and machines that had the crowd the most excited. Onboard the fire engine was none other than Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, stopping by Buckley one week before Christmas to spread holiday cheer.

"Anytime you have an opportunity to do something good like this, you can't pass it up," said 2nd Lt. Brandon Goebel, 460th Civil Engineer Squadron. "These kids deserve every good thing we can do for them and when I see them jumping up and down in the snow because they're so excited for the parade, I know we've done a good job."
