Master Sgt. Lisa Rendon, the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, Director of Operations Administration and Unit Fitness Program Monitor for the 566th Intelligence Squadron, is Team Buckley's Warrior of the Week for Nov. 14 - 20.

Sergeant Rendon has spent 19 years and nine months in the Air Force and calls Imlay City, Mich., "gateway to the thumb," home. When she is not working, she likes to travel, read, work out, play softball and ski.

What is the combat capability that this person exemplified to earn the title, "Warrior of the Week?"
"Master Sgt. Rendon arrived in the squadron this past summer, and took charge of two critical squadron programs: performance reports and the unit fitness program. She reduced overdue tests by more than 50 percent," said Lt. Col. Jonathan Snowden, 566 IS Commander. "She quickly improved both programs in time for our Unit Compliance Inspection three months later, helping us achieve a 100 percent compliance rate. She also earned a coin from our group commander at the 544th Intelligence Group."

How do your day-to-day duties impact the Air Force mission?

What has been your most memorable experience in the Air Force?
It would be a tie between landing on the USS George Washington in the Persian Gulf and the incentive F-16 flight I got in Korea.

Getting my first 100 when we switched to the new physical training assessments.
