Also, how long have you been with the 460th Space Wing?A. I've been in the Air Force for more than 17 years and in space for 13. I have been in the 460th Space Wing since it started back in August 2004.Q. How do you feel about being an instructor for the SBIRS course?A. I am really excited due to the fact that I am helping train future operators and when they perform the mission correctly I have done my job correctly.Q. What material will you teach during the SBIRS training class?A. I teach the systems crew chief portion, which involves making sure the ground system and the commanding system are all ready to go.Q. How will you conduct training?A. Our training is conducted in several ways, such as using simulations, electronic slideshows, lesson plans and on-the-job training. The idea is to give the trainee more experience now so that real-world scenarios will be a breeze.Q. What's the most valuable thought or insight you want to pass on to your students?A. I urge students to keep a positive outlook and to learn as much as they can. There is always more to learn.
