The day, sponsored by the Buckley 5/6, Buckley Top Three and Buckley Chief's Group, will feature a dunk tank, obstacle course, tug-o-war competition and a cookout, and is open to E-4s and below across all branches. "The junior enlisted tier is the largest tier of our force and they are carrying the lion's share of the work to protect our nation and allies," said Chief Master Sgt. Brian Kruzelnick, 460th Space Wing command chief. "I don't think we say thank you enough to them. This is a way we can step back, pat them on the back and pass on our appreciation." Attendees are encouraged to bring their own water guns and water balloons, and "arm" themselves with water weapons. Members must wear any modified combination of ABU, BDU, flight suit or service equivalent uniform. Camouflage paint and bandannas are also authorized. "This is a great way for junior enlisted across the five services and multiple organizations to build camaraderie," said Master Sgt. Robert Hotzfeld, 460th Medical Group first sergeant. "The junior enlisted are the heavy lifters of the military force and without them the mission could not get done."
