Hobbies: Java script coding, cars and lifting weights Panther at a Glance: Staff Sgt. Meyer grew up in a small farming town as a hay seed plow-boy until he was 15 years old. He met his wife, Carissa, in 2001 when he was 17. They were married in 2006, the same year he earned his Bachelors of Science in Graphic Design from Western Illinois University. He decided to join the Air Force in June 2010 after working as a regional manager for a local school photography studio. His most rewarding experience in the Air Force was when he deployed to Djibouti, Africa and maintained the special operations satellite equipment. He loves contributing to Buckley's "Persistent Global Surveillance" every day as the NCOIC of the maintenance operations center. "Staff Sgt.
