Belinda Petersen Air Reserve Personnel Center Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- An Air Reserve Personnel Center NCO was recognized during a staff meeting led by Brig. Gen. Samuel "Bo" Mahaney, ARPC commander, here Jan. 20. Tech. Sgt. Daniel Potter, benefits and entitlements technician, was coined by Lt. Col. Allen Thibeaux, commander of the 460th Civil Engineer Squadron. Thibeaux, who also works at Buckley AFB, wanted to publicly recognize Potter in front of his senior leadership. Potter recently helped one of Thibeaux's Airmen during a difficult time in this person's life. Because of Potter's Wingman attitude, he helped an Airman, from a different unit, through a challenging time and ensured this Airman got the treatment needed. Mahaney holds a Wingman Day at least once every quarter with the last event held Jan. 15. "We are not mandated to have a Wingman Day every quarter, but our programs are proactive," Mahaney said. "Because of our culture of feedback, when we get together, we can discuss things that impact us."
