Team Buckley celebrates Month of the Military Family Published Nov. 21, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Samantha Saulsbury 460th Space Wing Public Affairs 460th Space Wing Public Affairs -- Team Buckley is celebrating Month of the Military family during the month of November in honor of the commitment and sacrifices made by families of service members. To celebrate the month, the Airman and Family Readiness Center will be hosting an open house 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 18 in Bldg. 606 on base. Raffles for prizes will occur every hour. "It's a morale boost to let families know they're thought of and appreciated," said Amanda Dybas, Buckley Airman and Family Readiness Center receptionist. On Nov. 20, the youth center on base will be hosting their 3rd annual family potluck 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. "Here at the youth center, we know the importance of family," said Thomas Cox, 460th Force Support Sqaudron youth programs director. "The potluck is an open house for all families to enjoy the company and be together for the holidays."
