Website provides health tips for military families Published Sept. 9, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Samantha Saulsbury 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The U.S. Air Force has a website to help service members and their families get fit. USAF FitFamily is a site designed to help families get more involved in fitness and develop a healthier living lifestyle. The site provides information such as articles on family sports, nutrition, health, fitness, healthy recipes and meal plans. Registered members can also log fitness points earned by their families with the FitFamily Goal Tracker. Points are earned by physical activities completed during the week. There are five goals families can reach depending on the number of points earned. Enough points could result in a certificate commemorating the goal achieved and a special family recognition posted on the FitFamily website. The more family members involved in the activity, the more points earned. For more information, visit the FitFamily website.
