Five Team Buckley members selected for promotion to SMSgt

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Five Team Buckley members were notified of selection to senior master sergeant during the 2014 promotion release March 20.

Congratulations to the following master sergeants:

460th Space Wing
Shaun Weimer - 460th Space Communication Squadron
Willie Frazier - 460th SCS
Ryan Wortman - 460th Operations Group

Of more than 14,000 eligible master sergeants, only 999 have been selected for promotion, with a selection rate of 6.74 percent.

The average overall score for those selected was 677.15. Selectees' average time in grade was 4.25 years and time in service was 19 years. Other score averages included 134.99 for enlisted performance reports, 20.41 for decorations and 70.26 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.

Selectee promotions will begin in April, in order of promotion sequence numbers.

Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.

The list will be accessible on the Air Force Personnel Center public news page and social media sites, the Air Force Personnel Services website, and the Air Force Portal.
