CANCELLED: CFC to kick off with charity event, fair Published Sept. 27, 2013 BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- DUE TO THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. To kick off the Combined Federal Campaign season, the Rocky Mountain Federal Campaign is hosting the 2013 Team Buckley Kick-off and Charity Fair 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 2 at the Leadership Development Center on base. According to CFC Foundation website, the mission of the CFC is to support and promote philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost efficient and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. At the free event, there will be a cookie cook-off, scavenger hunt and charity give-aways from more than 75 local, national and international charities.
