Blood Donation
A nurse collects a hemoglobin sample before donation March 20, 2013, at the Children’s Hospital Colorado in Denver. A quick needle prick to the finger provides enough of a sample to check variations in an individual’s blood to properly assess that a donor meets all the physical qualifications to donate. Members from the 460th SCS participated as a group to donate to the hospital. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Marcy Glass/Released)
