Golfing at a mile high
AURORA, Colo. — Staff Sgt. Nicholas Rau, 460th Space Wing Public Affairs journalist, tees up a golf ball on the driving range at Murphy Creek Golf Course June 19, 2012. The golf course is near Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. and is approximately 5,800 feet above sea level. This makes the Murphy Creek golfing experience a unique one at over a mile-high, according to Caine Fitzgerald, an assistant golf pro at the course.
