Base participates in mass casualty exercise with local, state, federal agencies
BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- A member of the Aurora Fire Department plays dead during the Vigilant Front Range exercise here, May 15. Buckley and Aurora fire departments responded to housing after a mock fuel-tanker truck exploded at a mock wedding in Buckley Family Housing. The exercise involved federal, state and local agencies working with base agencies to test plans and build understanding, trust and relationships essential in the fast-paced environment of major disasters.
