Base participates in mass casualty exercise with local, state, federal agencies
BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Members of Buckley's Emergency Operations Center relay information to their various counterparts across the base in support of the Vigilant Front Range Exercise here May 15. The EOC acts as the hub between the Installation Control Center and the on-scene commander during major accident response incidents. The exercise involved federal, state and local agencies working with base agencies to test plans and build understanding, trust and relationships essential in the fast-paced environment of major disasters.
