Patricia and Robert O’Kane-Trombley, the parents of Capt. Thomas O’Kane, drop the ball for the first face-off of the game during the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse Military Appreciation Night Jan. 18, 2014, at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Captain O’Kane was an Air Force F-15 pilot who died with his co-pilot on July 18, 2009, in an air incident. O’Kane’s parents were honored for their son’s exceptional service during the annual Military Appreciation Night in which the Colorado Mammoths honored current, past and future service members.
