Airman of the Month
Senior Airman Gary Nagy, 460th Space Wing Inspector General inspection planner, receives the Airman of the Month Award for September from Col. Mitch D. Stratton, 460th SW vice commander, Nov. 12, 2013, at Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Nagy received the award for his exceptional service in leading 36 satellite sorties in six operational shifts while delivering mission warning capabilities for the president of the United States and nine combatant commands, thus safe guarding 130,000 warfighters. Nagy also trained as an initial Air Force inspection system and commander’s inspection program cadre, and he was selected for a critical wing inspection team position.
