NAVIOCOM Colorado Color Guard supported the 2015 Winter X-games
On the morning of Jan. 25, 2015, the Navy Information Operations Command Colorado Color Guard team was cordially invited to represent the United States Navy at the 2015 Winter X-Games held in Aspen, Colorado. The team was comprised of five Sailors: CTT1(IDW/SG) Christopher Guy, CTR2(IDW/SW) David Fiedler, CTT2(IDW/SW) Ian Evanskey, IT2(IDW) Christopher Dizon, and CTR3(IDW) Matthew Elder. The team honorably presented the colors during the playing of the National Anthem before the Snow Cross Finals event. The team flawlessly executed the detailed maneuvers despite the snowy terrain on a national televised event. With a successful representation of not only NAVIOCOM Colorado, but the United States Navy as a whole, these Sailors built camaraderie with the community and promoted Esprit de Corps.
