Female U.S. Marine Corps poolees endure DEP workout
A U.S. Marine Corps poolee squats with a sandbag while a Marine looks on during a delayed entry program all-female workout held Jan. 17, 2015, at the fitness center on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Poolees are members of the DEP that have not yet shipped out to recruit training. The DEP workouts consist of strengthening exercises to enable the poolees to be accustomed to the vigorous workouts and stress they will endure once they arrive at recruit training.
