Hangar 909

Preservationists from a variety of Colorado organizations admire artifacts found in Hangar 909 during a tour Sept. 14, 2015, on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Hangar 909 is being refurbished due to its deteriorating infrastructure. The project is set to begin in September 2016 and will not only improve the hangar’s structural integrity, and also enhance it to be able to support F-16 Fighting Falcon simulators for training purposes.
