Miller Jr. assumes command of 460th Space Wing
Lt. Gen. David J. Buck, Commander, 14th Air Force (Air Forces Strategic), Air Force Space Command; and Commander, Joint Functional Component Command for Space, U.S. Strategic Command, assigns command of the 460th Space Wing to Col. David N. Miller Jr., 460th SW commander, through the symbolic passing of the guidon during a ceremony August 12, 2016, at the Buckley Fitness Center on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. The guidon is a source of pride for the wing and its exchange symbolizes the end of an era as well as the beginning of a new one. Before assuming command of the 460th SW, Miller served as the senior advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, U.S. Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq.
