U.S. Representatives visit Buckley SFB

Miguel Cruz, the Space Delta 4 commander, and USSF Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, the Space Operations Command commander, on the functions of a Defense Support Program satellite on Oct. 13, 2021, in the Mission Control Station lobby on Buckley Space Force Base, Colo. The DSP satellites were first launched and operated in the 1970’s and have continued to provide an uninterrupted space-based early warning capability.
