BUCKLEY AFB CLOSES CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- At 0600MST today Buckley Air Force Base closed the A-Basin Child Development Center until further notice as a precaution to a potential coronavirus (COVID-19) case.

Team Buckley members who are feeling ill during duty hours are encouraged to contact the Buckley AFB clinic at 720-847-9355 or proceed to the local emergency room. If members are feeling ill after duty hours, they can contact the nurse advice line at 800-874-2273.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Colorado Department of Public Health, and Team Buckley are continuing to track the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

We are taking the risk of COVID-19 seriously, and are keeping our personnel well informed regarding protective actions. We will continue to employ Force Health protection actions to ensure we can accomplish our missions. We are preparing to employ additional Force Health protection actions as necessary.
