The 460th Medical Group and Contracting Flight are working a new dental contract to provide services for active-duty Airmen, due to the expiration of the old contract.

Dental care is currently being provided through the Active Duty Dental Program Remote Status.

To schedule an appointment, patients should follow these steps in order:

For routine appointments such as exams, cleanings and fillings:

· Contact an ADDP network provider to schedule an appointment. Members can choose from a list of providers by clicking here.
· Once scheduled, contact ADDP at 1-888-286-8454 to confirm "remote status" and obtain an appointment control number, required for every routine appointment.
· Once an ACN is obtained, give it to the dental clinic by calling or taking it with on the day of the appointment.

Specialty care:

· The member will be referred by their dentist for any specialty care needed.
· The specialist will make an initial evaluation appointment.
· An ACN must be obtained for these appointments, as well, by contacting the ADDP.
· Once an ACN is obtained, give it to the dental clinic by calling or taking it with on the day of the appointment.

Emergency care:

· During after-hours assistance, members should call their dentist's after-hours care number.
· If emergency assistance is needed during the day, members should proceed to the nearest ADDP network dentist.
· An ACN is not required for emergency care.

Other useful information:

· When obtaining an ACN, give the time, date, reason for appointment and location of the dental clinic.
· Members may continue to obtain care at their current dental location or may find additional ADDP network providers.
· Orthodontic care is not covered.
