Two tax assistance programs are currently offered on base for members of Team Buckley: the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, managed by the 460th Space Wing Legal Office, and H&R Block services located at The Exchange.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
VITA provides free services to active-duty service members E-5 and below and O-2 and below. To schedule an appointment, call the tax center at 720-847-6450 between 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays. Appointments will be made 1-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Retirees with incomes below $70,000 can schedule an appointment after March 11.
Those scheduling appointments with VITA must bring their social security card and military I.D.

Volunteers in the VITA program are trained by the Internal Revenue Service.
Service at The Exchange
H&R Block offers their tax services at The Exchange food court area to all Team Buckley members for a fee.
H&R Block representatives at The Exchange are tax experts and conveniently located for the Buckley population, said Pier Vidoni, H&R Block tax advisor.
H&R Block is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call H&R Block at 303-341-4472.
