Rob Hazelett ARPC Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Seven Air Force reservists teamed up for the Air Reserve Personnel Center-A Team to win the Buckley base bowling league championship Feb. 12. Team members consisted of Maj. Trent Champion, Senior Master Sgt. Peter Price, Master Sgt. Jon Christensen, Master Sgt. Javier Castro, Tech. Sgt. Alejandro Sanchez, Tech. Sgt. Rick Grybos and Senior Airman Kevin Thao. They advanced to the Buckley Base Roll-Off Championship where they eventually lost in the single-elimination, nine-team tournament. "It was a great bowling league to be a part of this year," said team captain Grybos who hails from Maryland. "We had a lot of fun, and we were in the hunt for first place from the get-go." The ARPC-A Team compiled a .694 winning percentage and never fell below second place during 18 weeks of league play. With the victory, they earned 125 points toward the Commander's Cup Trophy for intramurals.
