MiCare, a Department of Defense-sponsored website for military care beneficiaries, is a tool people can use to have their electronic health records made available on securely online, communicate with health professionals about non-urgent medical questions, request general medical needs and access a number of health resources.

MiCare should become available by the end of February.

All Buckley AFB clinic enrollees, to include service members, retirees, reservists and family members, are eligible to enroll.

MiCare makes available 24 months of medical history to include lab work, radiology reports, allergies, conditions, procedures, medications, and in-patient and out-patient notes. Additionally, MiCare allows you to receive test, lab and referral results; request prescription refills or appointments; and receive appointment reminders and health notifications.

Once registered, people using MiCare can potentially avoid waiting through automated phone prompts and unnecessary appointments by using the web-based service at their fingertips.

To enroll, fill out this FORM and return to the medical clinic in Bldg. 600, the main off-base clinic or the on-base pharmacy. For more information visit http://www.afms.af.mil/micare or http://www.buckley.af.mil/units/medical.asp, or call the Buckley AFB clinic at 720-847-WELL.
