Team Buckley to host CCAF graduation

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Team Buckley is cordially invited to attend a Community College of the Air Force graduation May 27, 1 p.m. at the Leadership Development Center. A reception in honor of the graduates will follow at the same location.

Please join education services in congratulating Team Buckley's CCAF graduates on their academic achievement, including the 2010 William H. Pitsenbarger Award Winners for Team Buckley. The Pitsenbarger Awards are sponsored by the Aerospace Education Foundation and are competitively awarded to Community College of the Air Force graduates who are continuing their education by working towards their Bachelor's Degree. The award is presented in recognition of past education achievements, job performance, future educational goals and leadership ability. The award is named in honor of Airman 1st Class William H. Pitsenbarger, who was killed in Vietnam while serving as a pararescueman. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery. Pitsenbarger Award-winners for 2010 will be announced at the graduation ceremony.
