Senior Airman Steven Benner, a patrolman with the 460th Security Forces Squadron, is the Warrior of the Week for July 11 - 17. Master Sgt. Robert Bone, former 460th SFS first sergeant, says Airman Benner displays an in-depth knowledge on patrolman evaluations averaging 94 percent. He maintains three duty certifications and was appointed by Maj. Matthew Boschert, 460th SFS commander, as the squadron computer support monitor maintaining 50-plus squadron computers.

How do your day-to-day duties impact the Air Force mission?
I increase the chances of Air Force mission success by providing seamless security to one of the nation's highest level resources.

If you could change one thing about the Air Force what would it be?
I would increase the maximum amount for tuition assistance per year.

Why do you serve?
I serve to develop life experiences and expand my knowledge of the world.

What has been your most memorable experience in the Air Force?
I provided aid to children in need in Iraq by giving toys and food.

What is your most memorable personal accomplishment?
Setting and meeting physical fitness goals.

If you were not in the military where would you be and why?
I would be building houses with my dad because I am good with my hands.

Where would you like to be in 10 years? What would you be doing?
I would like to be teaching my children how to better themselves in a house that I own.
