How do your day-to-day duties contribute to mission success?
I ensure the buildings and structures on base are in top operational condition allowing all squadrons to complete their mission.

If you could change one thing about the Air Force what would it be?
To recognize the civilian force as vital to the mission. Most of us did our service and know what the military is all about.

What has been your most memorable experience in the Air Force?
Winning the 1988 Outstanding Trades Award for the five-state district while at Lowry Air Force Base. Additionally, setting up a Civil Engineer Material Acquisition System throughout bases in the west and southwestern United States was a very memorable experience.

Duties, responsibilities, and accomplishments:
As a work leader, I assure work is being done professionally and in a timely manner. I oversee the carpentry, locksmith, sign and metal shops. I maintain Safety and Hazardous Communication programs. I act as the unit environmental coordinator. Since 1979, I have trained numerous civil engineer troops in liquid fuels, welding and sheet metal. I have also provided a sound foundation for launching military careers and livelihood outside of the Air Force.
