Officer assignment cycle Vulnerable Mover's list to be posted

  • Published
The summer 2007 officer assignment cycle Vulnerable Mover's List is scheduled to be posted on the Assignment Management System Web site Nov.10.

Officers are identified on the VML based on their Date Arrived on Station, Date Eligible to Return from Overseas or Assignment Availability Code expiration date.

The Headquarters Air Force Space Command suspense for reclamas and requisitions is Nov. 20. Disregard Air Force Personnel Center suspenses listed in AMS as they apply to reclamas and requisitions reaching AFPC after HQ AFSPC approval. All officers should have a current T-Officer Development Plan on file with AFPC.

Reclamas must be submitted directly into AMS. E-mail requests for VML additions should be submitted to the appropriate HQ AFSPC/A1FO POC listed below by Nov. 20. Requisitions for Summer '07 cycle actual and projected vacancies must be submitted directly into AMS by Nov. 20.

In addition, be sure to submit requisitions for vacancies created by Developmental Education, permament change of assignments and other out-of-cycle moves like separations and retirements. Requisitions are not required for units filled via a trained personnel requirement.

To ensure the requisitions are on the Summer Personnel Requirements Display the report no later than dates listed in the requisition(s) must be June 1, 2007, through Sept. 30, 2007. By-Name-Requests are accepted for field grade officers positions above the squadron level only.

List the officer's name in the mandatory qualifications block of the requisition and provide an e-mail from the requesting organization's senior rater to the appropriate HQ AFSPC/A1FO POC listed below.

Per AFPC policy, BNRs must be approved by senior raters. HQ AFSPC/A1FO will coordinate on the BNR while validating the requisition. Requested officers should be projected to normally move during the Summer cycle.
