YEAR OF THE NCO • COMPETENCY

U.S. Space Force Sgt. Aliyah Craig, Joint Tactical Ground Stations operator, brings
competency and dedication to her role and epitomizes the values upheld by the U.S.
Space Force.
Hailing from an Air Force family, Sgt. Craig's commitment to service runs deep. Her
journey in the Space Force has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a
steadfast focus on supporting her fellow Guardians. Arriving at Naval Air Station
Sigonella, Italy, a JTAGS unit falling under Space Delta 4, on June 10, 2023, she quickly
established herself as a beacon of competence and mentorship.
Sgt. Craig's dedication to her fellow service members is evident in her daily actions.
Whether advocating for the needs of her peers or guiding junior Guardians, she
prioritizes the betterment of the team above all else. Her leadership extends beyond the
workplace, as she actively seeks opportunities to support her colleagues in their
personal and professional growth.
As a JTAGS operator, Sgt. Craig operates in a mission-critical environment where
resilience and tenacity are paramount. Her willingness to go above and beyond, coupled
with her ability to connect people with opportunities, has earned her the respect and
admiration of her peers.
